Climate & Weather

Colombia is on the equator area, there are no seasons and the climate of each region is relatively stable all year. There are slight variations depending on the time of the year. There is a dry season usually from December to January and from July to August, and a rainy season from April to May and from October to November. The Andes mountain range gives the country a topographical variety ranging from tropical rain forests and plains, to deserts and perpetual snow. Therefore, the climatic variations depend on the altitude.
