experiences at the national level, seeking to promote the best image of our destinations, we are committed to offer products and services that promote the natural, social, economic and cultural environment of the regions where we work, articulating suppliers that are in harmony with our standards of quality and sustainability and promoting with our clients good practices that support the protection of the visited destinations. Thus, and under continuous improvement, our agency and collaborators integrate actions that minimize the impacts related to our operation and recognize and enhance the benefits generated.

IF YOU VISIT BEACHES OR MARINE AREAS

• Return with the solid wastes to your hotel
• Develop your activities according to the given instructions, avoid touching or taking
  animals or plants found on the beaches or in the sea
• Try to use sun protection products with natural or biodegradable ingredients, if you
  are going to perform snorkeling or diving activities near corals, avoid using these products
• When consuming products of sea, know the species in seal and the minimum sizes to promote its conservation
• Avoid using straws, carry some ashtray container to avoid throwing ash or cigarettes butts to the beach

WHEN VISITING NATURAL AREAS IN MOUNTAINS

• Avoid bring disposable materials with you and support cleaning of visited areas
• Perform your activities according to the instructions given by guides or authorities
• Try to use water bottles for refilling your drinks
• Recognize previously special conditions for your visit to adequately equip yourself
• Identify restricted areas and avoid disturbing the natural conditions of the area (noise, collecting plant material)

IN ARCHITECTURAL OR CULTURAL HERITAGE ZONES

• Take pictures according to the conditions of the place (avoid using flash)
• Make your travel without altering the community activities of the place
• Avoid touching, standing or leaning on restricted or vulnerable areas

  • Avoid taking photographs without prior permission of individuals or communities in their activities

Decalogue of a RESPONSIBLE tourist

We invite you to know and apply the following tips that will help your experience enrich the destination you visit.

1. Reducing water consumption maximizes its supply for the visiting community. Short showers and turn off the faucet when not in use are simple measures to save water.
2. The efficient use of equipment extends its useful life and reducing the generation of waste.
   Turn off the light, keep the air conditioner at 20 degrees, unplug equipment when not in use and program the TV to turn it off, all contribute to a better use of energy.
3. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Rethink, are the 4R that will help to be a traveler zero residues
   Take a reusable shopping bag, choose products with less packaging, use reusable bottles and use ecological points correctly to deposit your waste. Think before buy if you really need it.
4. In tourism, large quantities of food are wasted. We challenged you to eat it all.
5. Sustainable transport keeps the atmosphere cleaner. Opt to use zero emission transportation, the bicycle is a great option to explore locations you visit.
6. The communities visited have customs that must be respected. Before taking a photo to people request permission, maintain harmony avoiding to participate in activities that generate noise or disturb public order.
7. Supporting local communities contributes to their development. Acquiring services and products from local communities and contributing to projects that promote development are options to leave the best footprint
8. Know the destination, and take time to consult the rules and traditions. Ask for information and recommendations to know which customs or restrictions to follow.
9. Flora and fauna must be conserved taking care of those foods that are consumed or products that are acquired. Know the animal closures, reject products using endangered animal or plant species, know the optimal sizes for the consumption of seafood and fish.
10. Taking advantage of ventilation and natural lighting are ways to take care of one’s own health and that of the environment. Take advantage of common spaces and open curtains to reduce energy consumption.
